The fine selection of papers we use are specially treated to enhance the color spectrum and minimize dot gain, which means the colors remain “true.” Because we use only high-quality papers, our prints have excellent longevity, and resist fading and color shift.

The archival quality of our prints is especially important for clients who select Esque to reproduce original artwork or create fine art prints. We understand that a reproduction should have minimal differences from its original, especially in terms of color, texture and weight. This is just one of the many reasons why we use fine art premium papers.

We also pay special attention to ink. At Esque, we use UltraChrome K3™ inks with vivid magenta. These high-density pigment inks ensure a wider color gamut and have superior scratch resistance. All prints are created using an 8-pass uni-directional pigment layering system to create a superior quality print.

Because we want to ensure black-and-white prints remain true, and we seek the most accurate matching of colors, Esque’s technicians use RIP (Raster Image Processing) software on all prints. And, each paper has an individual ICC profile to maximize the results of its final output.
